TEAM ASHBY!

Today was the kids 5k Fun Run at school and what a "Fun Run" it was! Every year the kids and I discuss the same strategy for our run....how we are not going to start out running as fast as we can and burn out our musles in the first 50 yards, and, that we are going to keep a steady, not super fast pace! This is all good in theory! The minute they say "go" all strategy is left at the starting line! The kids did awesome though! Ethan ran with his grade and came in 11th and Tylar and I stayed together and she came in 8th for her grade! We had a great time and as usual I am a little sad that this was Ethan's last year!
